CAPTAIN'S MARKET
Would you like your charity to take part in a regular 'Free Registered Charity Market'?
Ever since the much publicised rescue of Captain and Hope from the garage in Daya Vieja, where they were left locked away slowly starving to death, upon rescue the owner was arrested and made Spanish history for being the first person to be imprisoned for ill treatment of horses. The Mayor, Rafa Vives Pertusa has pledged his support to the Easy Horse Care Rescue Foundation and has helped us in many ways. We as a foundation have been given the facility of the large car park in the centre of Daya Vieja to use as a licensed market. We would like to share this market free of charge to all of the registered animal and human charities in our area. We feel this is a way of sharing all the good will we have received, from the general public and the Mayor, which has helped save Captain, Hope and all the other horses, ponies, and donkeys living at our rescue centre. The market will be held every six weeks, subject to demand.
A community event for all charities to get together, promote and raise money for their worthwhile causes. All that we ask is for each charity to supply a stall, (free of charge) and a market marshal to help with security and parking.
EHCRC are advertising to find out if local registered charities would be interested in participating in the market to see if it is a viable idea.
