EASY HORSE FEATURES IN SWEDISH MEDIA
Easy Horse Care Rescue Centre has long been making a name for itself for its horse care and rescuing, not only in Spain, but internationally and has recently been featured in Sweden's biggest women's magazine 'Amelia.'
The article features a regular volunteer at the Rescue Centre in Rojales, Cassandra Lindahl from Sweden. This bright young woman has always had a love of animals and has been riding since she was 7 years-old and was originally looking for work abroad as an au pair before she came across the website for Easy Horse Care.
Since then, she has returned year after year giving her time freely to volunteer and help. She even rescued two of the Centre's little Donkey's Gin and Tonic, buying them to secure their future.
For co-founder Sue Weeding, it is people like Cassandra who enable them to do the vital work they do in the region rescuing and caring for abandoned and injured horses, ponies and donkeys, "Cassandra is an invaluable member of the team as are all our volunteers. She travels all the way from Sweden at her own cost to help here and we are delighted she has been featured in her country's largest selling women's magazine and it can only raise awareness and help our cause."
Easy Horse Care are currently working on improving the Centre and making preparations to expand in to Villa Vera in Daya Vieja. Fundraisers have curently been raising funds for Faith's Garden Appeal. Fences are now going up and turf will be laid shortly.
In the meantime, please note that the Open Days will be just once a week, every Sunday from 1-4pm.
