Feed a horse for a month
Equines in our area of Spain have very little access to grazing and grass, as our climate is often hot and nearly always very dry. As a result, many people feed high grain diets, which horses cannot tolerate and can lead to colic and laminitis.
We ensure our rescued horses, ponies and donkeys have access to the roughage they need by feeding high-quality alfalfa hay, which is grown in our local area and therefore fairly easy and cheap to access.
A €50 donation is enough for us to buy enough quality alfalfa hay to feed a rescued horse for an entire month. We'd be so grateful for your help feeding our equines.
